Gwen Marston
Gwen Marston is a professional quiltmaker, author, and teacher. She has taught quilting nationally and internationally for over three decades. Her articles have appeared in many magazines throughout the years. “Liberated Quiltmaking II,” published by AQS in January 2010, is her twenty-fourth book.
Gwen’s work has been shown in many group exhibits throughout the United States and abroad, and also in 28 solo exhibits in the US and 1 in Japan. Collaborative quilts made by Gwen and Freddy Moran have been shown at The National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky, and in four other exhibits.
For 27 years, Gwen has offered a series of quilting retreats in the fall for serious students of quiltmaking. She lives and works at her home on Beaver Island, Michigan.
