Sue has been quilting for nearly 30 years and has taught machine quilting and appliqué techniques for almost as long. She has taught and lectured for the American Quilter’s Society (AQS), at National Quilting Association and International Quilt Association shows, at guilds and conferences, and internationally. Her quilts have appeared in numerous publications. Sue is the coauthor of two books with her sister, Pat Holly, and they also sew award-winning quilts together—THE BEATLES QUILT claimed the 1998 AQS Best of Show award. Sue’s priority in the workshops she teaches is to provide a relaxed environment for students to learn machine techniques that are timesaving. She emphasizes the best quality workmanship, never compromising quality for speed!
