    Description

Learn to step out from under the size restrictions of stencils to create your own quilting designs. Look at hearts, leaves, and flowers as creative opportunities to use feathers. Learn to master pattern repeats, and flow designs around corners. Working with simple tools like large sheets of paper, a feathered design template, and basic drawing tools, you too can create designs that fit perfectly into the blocks and borders in your quilt.

I just opened my hot off the press copy of Anita Shackelford s Infinite Feathers. This is a must have, IMHO. A total how-to on drafting your own feathers to fit the space you are working on. Gorgeous pictures of some darned amazing hand quilting, as well as some beautiful machine quilting. Beautifully done by one of my favorite quilters of all time. -- Nicole Webb Whitehorse Quilting Studio
