    Helen Squire is best known for her Dear Helen quilting books series. This new CD-ROM contains all the patterns from her book, Create with Helen Squire: Hand & Machine Quilting, the fifth in the series. Print the patterns as shown or reversed, in five different sizes: one-half, three-quarters, same size, one and one-half, double. Use the browser page to look for specific design categories: Soft Curves, Strong Lineals, Flowing Florals, Silhouette Stencils, and Grids V. Each group contains 16 original patterns, multiplied by 10 different print sizes. Linked to the full-size pattern is a brand new collection of 25 placement diagrams. These diagrams can be printed in five block sizes, varying from 7 to 12 inches. Some of the medallion designs are enlarged to a whopping 17 inch or 28 inch pattern. There are more than 750 pattern variations to print, tape together, and use. Fully self-loading with easy point and click navigation. Systems requirements: Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP. CD Rom. 486 or greater CPU, 1MB or greater RAM, and a 15 inch or larger monitor with 800 x 600 or better resolution . Windows compatible.

    Each disc features an easy-to-use browser-based interface. Insert the disc and your browser automatically launches. Point and click to navigate. Both CDs contain helpful instructions and feature a 'Browse All Pattern's section or alphabetical listing of motifs. A person note from Helen, checklist of quilting possibilities, and guide to quilting terms is included on the Create and Print disc.
