Review of Pathways to Better Quilting - 02/21/2007
Reviewer: Anonymous from Paducah, KY, US

The American Quilter’s Society has a number of excellent publications devoted to quilting patterns, and Sally Terry’s latest book is no exception. Sally, who resides in Paducah, Kentucky, is a quilt designer with Golden Threads, demonstrates and sells longarm machines, and teaches for the Janome Institute. Pathways to Better Quilting provides 75 quilting patterns for traditional sewing machines, shortarm systems, and midarm or longarm machines, but it’s much more than just another pattern book. Filled with tips and techniques for resizing designs, transferring motifs to fabric, achieving smooth lines, choosing the right thread, etc., the book is a gold mine of information on everything that pertains to the design process. If you want to learn machine quilting or just improve your skills, we recommend this book. Review Source: "The Quilter," Nov. 2005, Page 86.
