Beautiful Quilts As You Go by Keryn Emmerson from the American Quilter’s Society is part of the Golden Threads Series. The author’s quick designs break the work down into simple steps that are easy to do. This allows you to hand or machine quilt a single strip or block at a time, which is much more manageable than a whole quilt. This title presents 48 patterns with a range of different borders. These designs are especially suitable for machine quilting. The author gives full-size patterns and complete instructions for the methods and techniques that are used for the various blocks and borders. A whole chapter is devoted to strippy quilt projects.
