Couldn't wait to receive it and it lived up to all my expectations. It is a wonderful new hobby which I am hoping, with the help of this book, to eventually conquer. Very informative and inspiring. -Pamela A. Gaskell

Everything you need to know about painting with thread. - 10/16/2009
Reviewer: Fabric Trends Magazine from USA

Now that you've mastered basic thread painting, it's time to take it a little further. In Terry White's book, "Thread Painting Made Easy," Terry covers everything you need to know about painting with thread to design your own quilts, wallhangings, home décor items, and clothing--step by simple step! Detailed information about sewing machines, their attachments, and accessories, as well as valuable advice regarding fabric, thread, needles, stabilizers, and a wonderful glossary of stitches is presented along with large, colorful photos and diagrams. Terry begins the first lesson with a single shape design and, by the tenth lesson, you're a pro! Thread painting might look daunting, but it is "actually very simple" assures Terry, "if taken one step at a time." No advanced skills are necessary, just the proper tools, a sewing machine, and more important of all--incentive and imagination.--"Fabric Trends" magazine, Fall 2009, page 118.

Terry's artistry and skills are on display throughout the book! - 07/02/2009
    Reviewer: Kit Robinson from USA

Terry White's thread painted pieces are so incredibly colorful, textured and scrumptious that your eye will dance from page to page to soak in everything they see. First, Terry helps you choose the fabric, needles, stabilizers and thread for each of several projects and then gives you a glossary of well-illustrated, basic stitches which will provide the foundation for the following step-by-step lessons. Her instructions are thorough, easy to understand and her method of teaching encourages you to continue on as the exercises become more complex. Terry's artistry and skills are on display throughout the book and inspirations abound. Be careful, this looks like it could be quite an addictive technique.
