Quilters and desserts just seem to go together, and nowhere better than in this great little gift book from AQS. The icing on the cake, so to speak, are the quilt photos scattered throughout, making this book packed with both edible and visual treats.

What quilter isn’t also a foodie? I’ll admit that the reason I joined the particular guild that I did is because they served lunch! This little book features 100 recipes from a variety of quilts, and the book is filled with photos and detail shots of quilts. Now, which recipe to try first, the orange marmalade oatmeal cookies, pecan pie bars or chocolate decadence brownies? This would make a nice gift for your quilt friends. Be sure to get one for yourself, too. --Morna McEver Golletz, “The Professional Quilter,” Spring 2010, page 26.

If you cannot make award winning quilts like some of the contributors to this book, at least you can cook like them. Many familiar names present recipes for sweets you'll remember. A great gift for the quilter who has everything.

Edible and visual treats all in one book! What a pleasure to see the wonderful quilts interspersed with some deliciously tempting recipes---from breads to pies to cold desserts. My life is all about simplicity these days, so I was happy to see some simple and easy to make recipes. I've already tried the "Kool Dessert," which only requires 4 ingredients, and the "Banana Split Cake," that was even better than I expected!
