About the Author
Pat Thompson
This Mt. Vernon, Washington, resident has been an avid quilter for over 30 years, starting as a home sewer at age twelve. She later taught home economics and learned quilting after her two sons were born. Quilting became her way to introduce herself to new communities as her husband’s corporate life brought many moves, in the United States and abroad.
