Quilt Appraisal Day
Highly acclaimed appraiser, Gerald Roy of Warner, N.H., will be conducting a Quilt Appraisal Day Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 10 - 3 pm. This is an opportunity for people to find out information about the quilt's pattern, fabrics, techniques, quality of construction, condition, replacement value and an approximate age of quilt. Each quilt appraisal costs $50 and takes about 30 minutes. Pre-registration with a $20 deposit is required. 4th Annual Halloween Black Light Museum Tour
Won’t you join us for our 4th annual Halloween Black Light Tour, Friday October 26th? See the Museum quilts in a “different” light as we lock the doors, turn off the lights, and turn on the “Black Lights.” Who knows what you’ll see in the quilts... Costumes are encouraged. Beginner Machine Applique Class
Live in the Paducah area? Now is the time to sign up for our very popular Adult Beginner Workshops with Karen Allen. These 5-week classes are designed for adult beginners. The National Quilt Museum is a non-profit institution located at 215 Jefferson Street in downtown Paducah, KY. The Museum is open year-round Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. CST. The Museum is also open on Sundays 1-5 p.m. April - October. The National Quilt Museum is ADA compliant.
