GRAND PRIZE WINNER ANNOUNCED
Elsie Mettler of Emmett, Idaho

Congratulations to Elsie Mettler of Emmett, Idaho, who is the grand prize winner in the AQS/Hinterberg Design 2010 Paducah Quilt Show GiveAway. Elsie will receive a fabulous quilting studio package from Hinterberg Designs, Inc., along with an all expense paid trip to the American Quilter’s Society 2010 Quilt Show & Contest – Paducah, April 21-24, 2010. Presentation of the prize package will be at the Paducah show. Elsie will be taking home a 19" Indigo Longarm Sewing Machine, a Summit Machine Quilting Frame, a large cutting table, and a rolling workstation. These prizes, along with the trip to Paducah, are valued at over $12,000.00.
We also want to congratulate Jeannine Laboon of Littleton, CO, the first-place winner. Jeannine will also be traveling in April to the AQS 2010 Quilt Show & Contest - Paducah. Her trip includes roundtrip air transportation, four days/three night’s hotel accommodations, multi-day admission to the quilt show and one set of special event tickets, along with $200 spending cash. The value of the first-place prize package is $1,000.00.
Ten second-place prize packages have been shipped. These lucky winners will each receive ten publications ($250.00 value) from the American Quilter’s Society.
On its way to the 100 third-place winners is a copy of “Quilts in My Cubicle” by Barbara Holtzman. Another top pick from an award-winning quilter.
