Sally’s quiltmaking path began at the age of three. Throughout her childhood she made all her own clothing. Her only lament is she never got to shop for clothes. She attended graduate school in multimedia at the University of Grenoble in France where her interest in making batiks developed, as well as a passion for intense, light-up-your-life color. Her background in marketing made it easy for Sally to start a home-based quilting business. Her enthusiasm for quilting resulted in a professional design and teaching career, allowing her to enthusiastically share her vast knowledge. Sally’s ideas have been published in quilting magazines and books and she has taught throughout the United States and Canada at quilt shows, workshops, and guilds. She teaches concepts that are easily understood and mastered. After 20 years in Des Moines, Iowa, Sally recently relocated to Paducah, Kentucky.
