So often people and events touch our lives in special ways and we have a need to show how truly appreciative we are. But how? There are only so many hours in a day and the quilting projects in our "to do" queues are endless. This book offers a solution to that dilemma. As authors, Tammy Silvers and Julia LeBauve, explain, "Use this book to say a big 'Thanks!' with a small quilt to the people who truly make a difference in your life--those who are there with you for those big events of life." Each quilt is made using batik fat quarters, felted wool pieces, and a standardized 15" x 16" size with the same layout. The "parts" are interchangeable so these little quilts, while being fast and easy, are still thoughtful and very personal gifts which will be much appreciated by the recipient. From "thank you", to "you shine", to "warm wishes" to "way to go", to "bless this house", this book contains a pattern or inspiration for any heartfelt gift you might want to create.

    A Wonderful New Book - 09/18/2009

Tammy taught me to quilt in 2002. She challenged me to think creatively, with well developed and easy to follow instructions. Julia is a talented quilter with an exceptional eye for color. Working as a team, they have created a beautiful body of work!
