    Description

From the author of the popular Wonderful 1 Fabric Quilts book (AQS, 2007) comes this great twist - or curve - on the same idea: use one beautiful border fabric with one classic pattern for limitless, spectacular results. Make 27 quilts from the same two templates and the placement diagrams. Kay shows once again the tremendous versatility of border prints using the Drunkard's Path block on a number of fabrics, many of them multiple times, How you cut the fabric determines the look you get. Kay provides photos of fabrics to use and those to avoid so your quilts will look their best.

    Wonderful 1 Fabric Curves - 10/19/2011
Reviewer: James A. Cox, Midwest Book Review from Oregon, WI, USA

“Wonderful 1 Fabric Curves” features a range of options that can be created using one block and unlimited designs, showing how different template placement changes the look of the blocks and allows more than one quilt to be made with the same border print. 27 quilts can be produced using just two templates with this book, which shows how to pair fabrics and layouts for maximum results. James A. Cox, The Midwest Book Review, California Bookwatch, October 2011.

I would buy this book just for the information on page 28 "Pinless Cuved Piecing". Mastering this technique takes the fear out of sewing a curved block. Then the author includes so many pictures of examples of quilts to make, we'll never run out of ideas.
