General Information
Getting to the Show
Highway Access: Interstate highways lead into Nashville from all directions, providing access by automobile. I-65 connects the city with Louisville, Indianapolis, and Chicago to the north and Birmingham, Montgomery, and Mobile to the south. Nashville is bisected by I-40, an east-west freeway that also passes through cities such as Asheville, Knoxville, Memphis, Little Rock, and Oklahoma City. I-24 crosses the city from the northwest to the southeast, providing convenient travel from St. Louis, Paducah, Chattanooga, and Atlanta.
Access by Air: Nashville International Airport (BNA) is served by 16 airlines providing access from all parts of the nation and the world. For your convenience, Gaylord Opryland® offers air-conditioned airport shuttle luxury motor coach service to/from the Nashville International Airport, 5 a.m.–11:00 a.m. daily. Tickets can be purchased at the Gaylord Opryland® welcome desk at the Ground Transportation area on the lower level of the airport. The fare is $20 per person one way, or $30 per person round trip.
Parking
There are two options for parking: daily rates are $16 plus taxes in a regular lot on the hotel property OR $5 plus taxes for Quilters Lots D and E. If you are staying at the Opryland hotel, the front desk will ask you at check-in if you are planning to park in the regular lot ($16 plus taxes) or the designated Quilters lot ($5 plus taxes). Opryland guests will receive a special white voucher which will allow them to park in the Quilters lot for the duration of their stay and the $5 charge will be automatically posted to the guest’s account. Other guests will pay for parking in the D and E lots as you park. Watch for the signs – AQS Quilters Parking.
Valet parking is available at Cascades and Magnolia lobbies for $24 plus taxes. Shuttle service between parking lots D and E and the Delta Portico has been scheduled for: Tues., Aug. 19, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wed. thru Sat., Aug. 20 – 23, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The cost for the parking lot shuttle is $4 per person per day or $10 for a 4-day pass.
