For the August AQS & AccuQuilt-Along, we're making the Going Carolina in My Mind Throw! This quilt is a sunny, scrappy, and innovative project you won't want to miss.
Designed for AccuQuilt by Laura Strickland of Orange Blossom Quilts
Finished Size: 58" x 72"

This quilt is bursting with creative design elements, created by combining the GO! North
Carolina Star Block on Board (BOB) die with the GO! Qube Mix & Match 5” Finished Block and
a few GO! Strip Cutters. There’s no need to feel intimidated, as we’ll be creating this project
together, step by step. Visit AccuQuilt's blog post to learn more about the cutting system products.
This masterpiece of a quilt has 4 full North Carolina Star blocks combined with 8 blocks that combine elements from the North Carolina Star with 4 different Mix & Match blocks.
In the pattern, Laura has chosen to use the GO! Broken Dishes, GO! Flashing Windmills, GO! Spinner, and GO! X blocks. You can follow the pattern and use these same blocks or you can select your own blocks, it’s all up to you. In fact, with the GO! Qube Mix & Match 5” Finished Block, Companion Set Angles, and Companion Set Corners, you have 216 different blocks you can easily choose from!
