Tips and Tricks for Every Quilter, #15LL00
Lynn shares her lessons learned from 40+ years of quilting. These tips cover start to finish in the quilting process. Lynn specializes in “Why Things Work.” She has found that this helps the quilter connect with the design, tool, or process. The quilter is encouraged to bring their questions, general or specific, like:
- Why do I need to do this?
- What does this mean?
- Why did I buy this tool?

Inspiring Journey into Thread Painting, #15LL01
In this open and inspiring talk, Joyce shares how she started in quilting, which led her to creating Art Quilts with Thread Painting, giving her lots of great ideas about how to use panels as Art Quilts. You’ll leave inspired to try something new with your quilting!
- Joyce will show you her before-and-after Art Quilts featuring panels. Explore ways panels can be used for your personal projects. With a little embellishing and/or thread painting on fabric, a simple panel soon becomes a piece of art.
- Learn how to prepare the panel for a project, and how to use thread painting to create layers of thread to achieve different effects on your quilts. Then, add embellishments with ribbon, markers, paint, crystals, and more.
- The end result is unique and one of a kind – even with a panel!
