- Quilt Center - 11 Assorted Same-Value Half Yard Fabrics
- Star Points and Border - 2 Yards
- Binding - 2⁄3 Yard
Week One: Preparing Your Fabric
In Week One, let's get everything ready! Michelle Renee introduces you to her favorite supplies and tools for the series. Don't worry; the only required tool is the Rapid Fire Hunter's Star Ruler - Petite from Studio180. If you don't have it yet, you can find it in our online store.
Week One Video
To kick things off, watch Michelle Renee's Week One video here. She'll guide you through everything you need to get started.
For the quilt, you'll need 11 half yards for the prints and 2 yards of background fabric. Watch as Michelle Renee takes you through the steps to prepare your fabric. Follow her tips and you'll be ready to cut next week.

Getting Ready for Week Two
Here’s what you need to do to prepare for Week Two:
- Square Up Your Fabric: Make sure your fabric is squared up.
- Press and Fold: Press your fabric and fold it neatly for easy cutting.
- Fabric Requirements: The quilt features 11 half yards of print fabrics and 2 yards of background fabric. (If you purchased the kit, prepare your binding fabric as well since it includes a half yard used for the blocks.)
Week Two: Cutting Your Fabric
It's Week Two, and we're excited to start cutting the fabric for our quilt blocks! This week Michelle Renee shows you how to cut the pieces needed to make the blocks, so you'll be ready to sew them together next week.

Getting Ready for Week Three
Here’s what you need to do to prepare for Week Three:
- Cut the half-yard fabrics
- Sub-cut the triangles and trapezoids
- Cut the background fabric
Make sure you have everything ready so you can start piecing your Hunter Star blocks next week!
Week Three: Making the Trapezoid/Diamond Units
It's Week Three, and we can't wait to make the Trapezoid/Diamond Units! This week, Michelle Renee shows you how to add the star points to your trapezoids, so you'll be ready to sew the blocks together next week.

Let's start sewing! Watch as Michelle Renee takes you step-by-step through the process of creating strip sets, pressing, and cutting them apart to complete the Trapezoid/Diamond Units.
Getting Ready for Week Four
Here’s what you need to do to prepare for Week Four:
- Piece the Trapezoid Strip Sets
- Make 12 Trapezoid/Diamond Units per Half Yard fabric
- 132 Trapezoid/Diamond Units total
Make sure you have everything ready so you can dive into the fun of creating your Hunter Star blocks next week!
Week Four: Making the Pieced Triangle Unit
It's Week Four, and we're making a Pieced Triangle Unit for the Hunter Star blocks.

Watch as Michelle Renee takes you step-by-step through trimming the Trapezoid/Diamond units and sewing them to the triangles to make the Pieced Triangle units for the Hunter Star blocks.
Getting Ready for Week Five
Here’s what you need to do to prepare for Week Five:
- Trim the Trapezoid/Diamond Units
- Sew the Trapezoid/Diamond Units to the Half Square Triangles
- Press 132 Pieced Triangle Units
Make sure you have everything ready so you can wrap up your Hunter Star blocks next week!
Week Five: Hunter Star Block Assembly
It's Week Five, and we're making the Hunter Star blocks.

Here’s what you need to do to prepare for Week Six:
- Sew the 132 Pieced Triangle Units into 66 Hunter Star Blocks
- Press the Hunter Star Blocks
- Trim the Hunter Star Blocks
Make sure you have everything ready to assemble your rows next week!
