PRINTMAKING MEETS QUILTING: A FUSION OF ARTISTRY
Jane’s adventure into the world of quilting began when she and her mom got together and opened a quilt shop, The Country Quilter, in Somers, NY in 1990. But before even getting into quilting, Jane had another way to express her creativity: printmaking. Printmaking and quilting may not seem like they go together, but Jane found a way to make it work. And today, she does a fabulous job of stitching the two together.
TEACHING WITH PASSION: JANE’S APPROACH TO EDUCATION
Somehow, amid her creative adventures, Jane dedicates time to teaching. Her excitement for sharing her skills and passions shines through, and she's eager to share them with you. Now. You may be wondering: “But surely there’s a certain skill level that I have to reach before I take one of Jane’s classes. Right?” Wrong. Jane created her classes so that anyone - and we mean *anyone* - can take them. Just a beginner? You can take Jane’s classes. Have loads of experience in art quilting? You, too, can take Jane’s classes. No matter where you’re at in your quilting journey, Jane has tried to make her classes a resource you can be comfortable with using.
“WHAT IF?” - THE GUIDING QUESTION THAT FUELS JANE’S CREATIVITY
