The Sew & Quilt Co. Booth #1225

The Sew N Quilt Co. is the realization of a lifelong dream for owner, Michelle Cavanaugh. She was introduced to needlecrafts at a young age by her mother and grandmothers. Growing up, one of the first badges she earned as a Girl Scout was related to sewing. By middle school, she was making gifts for others and clothes for herself.  As she graduated from high school her first purchase was to put a Singer sewing machine on layaway so she could have a machine when she went to college to become a nurse she could still practice her hobby.

After college Michelle and her husband raised three boys while working in her nursing career and later as a business owner of a successful medical billing company. Family life was busy yet she always dreamed of having a shop where she could share her love of needlecrafts.

Now that her boys are grown and blessing her with wonderful grandchildren, she decided to start a new chapter in her life by taking the big step of opening this store dedicated to helping others enjoy the craft of sewing and quilting.

Meet Cheryl Nelson -

The Creative Mind Behind Pink Parakeet Designs Booth #1406

Hello there! I'm Cheryl Nelson, the proud business owner and quilt enthusiast behind Pink Parakeet Designs. When I'm not busy turning fabric into quilts, you can find me plotting my next quilt design or just trying to remember where I put my phone (spoiler: it's probably under a pile of fabric!).

Each pattern is created with love and attention to detail, and I take pride in the fact that my designs are available in several quilt shops nationwide. There's nothing quite like walking into a shop and seeing my patterns come to life in the hands of fellow fabric enthusiasts!

You can also find my creations on Etsy, where I've had the pleasure of connecting with customers all over the world. I thrive on inspiration from everyday life---the things that make me smile.

Guitars remind me of the music that fills my heart, golf clubs evoke memories of sunny days on the green, chickens bring about a touch of whimsy, and flamingos? Well, they're just fabulous! Each pattern tells a story, and I hope my designs inspire others to bring their own creative visions to fruition.

In addition to designing, I enjoy engaging with fellow creators, especially at Camp Tecumseh Quilt Camp in Delphi, Indiana. I believe every conversation is a learning opportunity, and my Quilt Camp community has been incredibly supportive. It's heartwarming to see how my designs resonate with others and how they transform into beautiful quilts.

So, if you're looking to add a splash of personality to your projects or simply want to explore the vibrant world of quilt designs, I invite you to check out Pink Parakeet Designs. Let's celebrate creativity, one quirky pattern at a time!

Thank you for joining me on this colorful journey; I can't wait to see what you'll create with my designs!

Quilted Twins Booth #1316

Rachael and Becky are the Quilted Twins. Their passion for sewing was fueled, in part, by their incessant twin competitiveness, where one could NEVER surpass the other, lest twin drama ensue. (Twins & parents of twins will understand!)

Even though the twins' road of life has diverged to separate continents, they've remained connected.

Becky is the one who originally got into quilting, and adores the sewing side of the business, from pattern design to quilting completion. Rachael, on the other hand, is a gifted businesswoman and has seen success with other business ventures.

Together, the Quilted Twins are a team that wants to bring quilting back to the people and back to the home. We welcome you to join us on our adventure together, which we know will be unforgettable.

Ritzy Quilting Company Booth #1527

I'm Danielle Butler, but the Ritzy Quilting company was named after my grandmother. She taught me to quilt. When the pandemic hit and my job vanished, I realized I needed to find something to do that could take the place of a decades-long career. It occurred to me that my hobby could fulfill the role that my career had in bringing in income.

I started longarming for payment. Soon after, I began hearing about people’s frustrations with seams on their backing fabric and I realized that there was a void in the local market for wide backing fabrics. I filed for my LLC and started stocking them for sale in my studio.

I outgrew my studio in 2023. On February 1, 2024, we opened our brick-and-mortar location and now sell all sorts of patterns, fabrics, notions, Janome Sewing Machines, and of course still longarm with a huge selection of wide backing fabrics.

True Honey Teas Booth #1609

It all started with the idea to bring natural single-serve tea pods to every home, with a twist... After receiving a Keurig machine (as a gift from his mother on Valentine's Day), Chris quickly discovered that single-serve tea selections were very limited. His engineering curiosity took over and he set out to create his own.

After finding prototype cups and lids online, he started experimenting with a variety of teas and sweeteners. Unsurprisingly, honey proved to be the best compliment. Through months of tedious testing and prototyping, Chris discovered that the unique physical properties of honey enabled it to be combined with tea in a single-serve cup.

After an overwhelming response from co-workers and friends, Chris decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign to see if the world shared his interest and new-found passion for a better single-serve tea... And it did! True Honey Teas was born.

Four years later, after a realization that the single-serve tea community didn't serve all tea drinkers, True Honey Tea introduced the honey tea bag. Six months and another successful Kickstarter campaign made True Honey Tea Bags a reality. Every teabag has granular honey right in the bag! True Honey Teas is proud to serve all tea drinkers, whatever the delicious delivery method.
