No Sewing Until You Quilt: French Fuse Applique Technique

No Sewing Until You Quilt: French Fuse Applique Technique

No Sewing Until You Quilt is a turned-edge appliqué technique using a fusible tricot interfacing as a foundation and glue stick on the seam allowances. There is NO sewing until AFTER you make your quilt sandwich; then you stitch-and-quilt all at the same time by machine with a free-motion or darning foot. This gives you freedom to create almost any shape and to edit your work without ripping out seams. The technique works for wallhangings and soft bed quilts alike.
