Quilting Reverse Applique

Quilting Reverse Applique

My reverse appliqué quilt top is all stitched.  Now what?

Unlike an appliqué quilt where the design is on top of the background and rises up to meet us, a reverse appliqué design is created in the background fabric and recedes away from us, drawing us into the quilt top.

So, how do I quilt the reverse appliqué piece to accent the stitched design and draw us deeper into the quilt’s beauty? What are the special considerations when quilting reverse appliqué? How is it different than quilting appliqué? Click here to read the blog Quilting Reverse Applique to find out.
