Winter Tree Land

AQS QuiltWeek Vendor Debbie Wendt of Wendt Quilting has created the Winter Tree-Land projects for us to make. Grab 2 jelly roll strips (any 2 ½” strips) and you are on your way to making a winter wonderland of trees. Big trees, tiny trees and in between trees.

This project is quick and easy. Plus, it doesn’t even need a binding. Think Shabby Chic or Country Charm. Whichever your style, you will love this easy project.

Supply List

TWO strips cut 2 ½” x WOF (width of fabric)
Dark and light, red and white, red and green, purple and pink, any combination!
Paper Templates Diamond and Triangle, will be provided in directions.
If you prefer cutting around an acrylic template Debbie’s Hex-a-ma-jig Jr. is the
tool to use. You can purchase it on her website at Wendt Quilting,
www.wendtquilting.com.
Sewing machine, thread, pins, snips, rotary mat, cutter, smaller ruler
(Hex-a-ma-jig Jr. optional)
