Reich, Sue
Sue Reich became interested in the study of quilt history with the Connecticut Quilt Search Project in 1991. A quiltmaker since childhood, she lectures widely on many aspects of quilt history and is an AQS Certified Quilt Appraiser. Sue has authored several books, including Quilting News of Yesteryear: 1,000 Pieces and Counting, World War I Quilts, and World War II Quilts. She has been guest curator at the New England Quilt Museum, The National Quilt Museum, the Huntsville Art Museum, and the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum, and has lectured at premier institutions around the world, including the Quilters Hall of Fame, the Women’s Creativity Conference at Quinnipiac University, and the International Quilt Study Center. Now president of the Quilts of Valor Foundation, Sue is excited to travel to each AQS show to share the Quilts of Valor story with quilters from all over the globe.
