Having trouble getting those bindings to look just right? This half-day class with Pat will get you on track for a show-worthy ending to your quilt. Little tricks and tips will give you the confidence to finish your quilts with a beautiful narrow binding and perfectly mitered corners every time. She will discuss sewing on the binding fitted perfectly to the quilt, filling the binding with just enough batting, and hand sewing it all together invisibly. A beautiful binding is the frame for your quilt and should be as wonderful as the rest of your workmanship!

Building a Visual Quilting Vocabulary to Improve Your Domestic Machine Quilting, #18519

We will explore multiple styles of free-motion stitches to add to your collection.

With more than fifty designs made to fit narrow borders, triangular patches, or background areas, you will have no trouble broadening your design ideas. Ready, Set, Sew! Learn to Quilt on Your Home Machine, #18512
We will start with the basics and go quickly to stitching. We will explore many techniques including background fills, stencils, freehand designs, and motifs. If you are apprehensive or out of ideas, this class will rev up your skills making you a confident machine quilter ready to tackle those UFO’s that have been piling up. A quilt is truly yours when you finish it yourself.
