Heirloom Backgrounds on the Home Machine, #28512
Beautiful background designs are responsible for adding texture and shadow to your quilt and to make the primary designs pop! Join Cindy for an information packed class where you will spend the first hour in lecture where she teaches you how to do some of her favorite background designs. You will spend the remainder of the class at the sewing machine where you will learn to quilt these designs. Cindy provides a pre-sandwiched panel, Kimono silk thread and a Topstitch needle as well as extensive handouts. There will also be stencils available for you to use.
Heirloom Feathers & Backgrounds (Lecture/Demo), #22501
One of Cindy's most popular 2-day workshops is devoted to feathers and backgrounds. She has taken only the lectures and condensed it into this 3 hour class. She teaches very basic feathers and how to embellish and add your own details. Then we move on to beautiful backgrounds! Lots of beautiful class samples are available. Class handbooks are provided on a thumb drive. Paper handouts are also provided.
