Free-Motion, Raw-Edge Appliqué: Cut, Improvise, and Stitch, #23507
A leafy gala of fabric, color, guided free-cutting, improvisation, and free-motion stitching. Great first experience for those new to free-motion machine quilting! Super fun, and most everyone finishes their little quilt (small version of pictured).

Improvisational Foundation Piecing, #27110f
Let’s face it - making stuff up is fun. Karen will help you find your improv wings, with just enough structure to guarantee a wonderful outcome. The pictured quilt, “Untitled” (a play on silk scraps which never became neckties), was constructed improvisationally. The printed pfp pattern came later, and like working with neckties, is also an option in class. Registration for this class includes show admission for Friday.

Ogee Lotus: Innovative Machine Appliqué, #23103t
Enjoy this glorious design using Karen's unique method of construction. You'll complete a glue-basted block before leaving ready to machine stitch at home and complete your interpretation of the quilt. Registration for this class includes show admission for Thursday.

Seven Sisters: Learn English Paper Piecing by Machine, #27102w
Traditionally English Paper Pieced, this beloved historic design lends itself beautifully to Karen’s EPP by Machine, which stands up altogether to the original hand work. You’ll be amazed at how comfortably this goes together, and how the technique facilitates practically any EPP design. Registration for this class includes show admission for Wednesday.
