Have some fun with machine quilting and machine appliqué while making a sweet little modern Christmas (or any celebratory) tree project! A great opportunity to play with your decorative stitches and fancy threads!

Flying Frankies: The New and Fun Variation of Flying Geese, #39541
What is a Flying Frankie? While it started as an autocorrect of "Flying Geese," the silly name quickly stuck as a description of scrappy outlined flying geese made using my Accordion Sewn HSTs™ method and some contrasting piping. In class, you will learn how to make these cool and eye catching elements and create two blocks; once you've mastered the technique, you'll want to add them to all sorts of projects!

Hurdy Gurdy Table Runner: Using the Accordion Sewn HSTs™, #37521
Adapted from the "Hurdy Gurdy" pattern in one of my books, this runner is a quicker version perfect to both learn the Accordion Sewn HSTs™ technique and create a stunning, scrappy version of a classic block. You'll be amazed by how the accordions turn into perfectly laid out blocks almost by magic!

Intro to Accordian Sewn HSTs™, #37503
If you haven't discovered the Accordion Sewn HSTs™ method of making half-square triangles with no matches and no waste, it's time! It's not only fun and addicting, but by the time you create and cut apart your cute little accordions, your blocks will have the potential to lay out perfectly in order to form your design! It's innovative and amazing and once you learn the technique you'll want to adapt it to all of your future half-square triangle quilts!

Kickin Stash: Modern Log Cabin Blocks, #37522
Become addicted to the making of these modernesque Log Cabin style blocks while learning piecing tips, value tricks, and color confidence. You will create these fun in both "planned" scrappy (four fabrics per block) and "completely" scrappy (16 fabrics per block) really bringing out the possibilities with this design.
