Join Cindy and learn how to quilt new and beautiful designs on your home machine! This is a fun class you'll learn to stitch six beautiful but simple background designs. You will find so many uses in your quilts for these fun and versatile fillers. In class, you'll make a mini wholecloth quilt with your newly-learned stitches and be able to take it home as a sample to help you reference your new designs for your next project.

Be prepared for two full days of learning many beautiful techniques that will enhance your quilts. On
the first day, Cindy will teach you the "trapunto by machine" method. On day two, you will learn 8
lovely background quilting designs to make your trapunto design POP! At the close of the second
day, you'll learn how to bind the curved edge of your quilt beautifully. Class fee includes a boxed
lunch for both days.

This class is designed for beginning machine quilting enthusiasts, but is guaranteed to teach even skilled machine quilters a thing or two about successfully quilting your quilts. You'll learn about threads, needles, batting, walking foot quilting, extensive free-motion quilting, three types of feathers, and most importantly, how to handle large quilts on your home sewing machine. Registration for this class includes show admission for Wednesday.
