Heidi Proffetty is a professional educator, designer, and award-winning quilter. With over 30 years of experience, she has a genuine passion for quilting and sewing. She is widely recognized for her unique mosaic quilting style, in which she blends traditional and innovative techniques to create her art quilts. Heidi also teaches students on how to make one-of-a-kind stitch art designs created from sewing machine stitches. Her quilting and stitching techniques have been published in AQ Magazine, Quilting Arts Magazine, Art Quilting Studio, Classic Sewing, and Patchwork Professional, and she has appeared on The Quilt Show and Quilting Arts TV. Additionally, she frequently creates original sewing and quilting projects shared with the Janome community through the Maker/Artisan program offered by Janome Sewing Machines.
