In 1986, Stacy started a business venture called “Shades Textiles”. After visiting several large quilt shows, she was inspired to explore the options of hand dyed textiles in the quilting marketplace. Within her first couple of years in business Stacy started exhibiting at as many as 18 quilt shows a year from smaller local events to some of the bigger venues like The American Quilter’s Society Quilt Show in Kentucky

In the class, you will start with a smaller, die cut project that is provided in the class kit. You will make a smaller project and focus on finishing appliqué projects by machine. Throughout the day, you will trace, fuse, and cut the larger design. Registration for this class includes show admission for Wednesday.
