Parking

Visitors:

  • $10 daily
  • Visitors can park in parking lots 2, 3, 4, and 6. A shuttle will go to all parking lots and provide drop-off at the entrances. When you are ready to leave, the shuttle will provide pick-up services at those same entrances and will drop-off at all parking lots.
  • Handicapped Parking can be found in parking lot 2 near the entrance. Follow the signs.
  • Important - A parking pass must be purchased before departure. You can purchase the pay pass at two Nook locations:
    — Guest Services Desk - Located in the main lobby, after walking through the main doors.
    — Atrium - Located near the hotel lobby.

Hotel Guests:

  • Guests must park in the Hotel Parking only lot. This is the only lot that allows overnight parking.
  • Guests will get a complimentary parking pass upon check-in.
  • This pass will be needed for exit and re-entry throughout the stay.

Buses:

  • $10 daily
  • Security will direct buses wishing to park to Member or Lot 6 parking depending on capacity.
  • Buses can perform drop-off/pick-up if they immediately exit.

Show Dining

Forklift and Palate Restaurant:

Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Forklift and Palate menu is subject to change and will be based on Seasonal items.


Smoothie Bar & Quilter’s Show Food Court:

Open during show hours for lunch and snacks offering a wide variety of beverages, snacks, burgers, hoagies, salad bars, and sweets.

Package Check

Quilters can check items (bags with class supplies, purchases, or wheeled carts) at the Package Check inside the exhibit hall of the Field House. The Red Rose Quilters’ Guild is coordinating this package check area. The guild’s raffle quilt will be located in this area too.


Scooter Rental

Lancaster Scooter Rental Information

Thank you for your interest in renting a scooter at AQS QuiltWeek - Lancaster! We're dedicated to ensuring all our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience at the quilt show.


Scooters and wheelchairs will be available to rent from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday during AQS QuiltWeek – Lancaster 2024.

  • Rental Rates – In addition to the rental fees listed below, please note that a $10 cash security deposit will be required for all scooter rentals. This deposit is refundable upon the timely return of the scooter. Please bring the $10 cash security deposit on the day of the rental, along with the rental fee (cash or credit card), to the Information Center.

    Late Charges – There will be a $10 late charge for all scooters returned late. We kindly ask that you return your scooter promptly at the end of your rental period to avoid any additional fees.
  • Scooters
    o Half-Day (Morning or Afternoon): $67
    – Available from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. (Saturday 12:00 - 3 p.m.)
    o Full Day: $120 per day
    o 2 Days: $190 for 2 days
    – Must be consecutive days.
  • Wheelchairs
    o $40 per day

Please call Julie Heath at (270) 898-7903 x182 to make a reservation or rent your scooter at the AQS Information Center during QuiltWeek (while supplies last).

If you have a scooter reserved, stop at the AQS Information Center inside the Exhibit Hall to make payment, sign the paperwork, and pick up the key.

Scooters should be returned one hour before the show closing each day (4:00 p.m. on Wed., Thurs., and Fri., and 3:00 p.m. on Sat). You will need to return the key to the AQS Information Center.

At each show, the American Quilter’s Society partners with charitable groups to help make the public aware of their contribution.

This year, AQS, Red Rose Quilters Guild, and quilters attending the show will be making quilts to be donated to local charities throughout the Lancaster County area (Bethany Slavic Church; Domestic Violence Services; Faith, Food, Fellowship; Gentiva Hospice; Good Samaritan Services; Lancaster Field of Hope; New Person Ministries; Off the Streets; and Transitional Living Center). Sewing machines, irons, and all materials are provided. We can make a difference by sewing for charity at the show!

K9 Quilt of HonorK9 Quilt of Honor

K9 Quilt of Honor, #1516

Law enforcement and military war dogs are honored though the K9 Quilts of Honor® program. Quilts are presented to the K9 handlers in honor of their dog’s services in our communities and country after a lifetime of service when the K9 retires or dies in the line of duty. Stop by the K9 Quilts of Honor booth for more information about this program.


AQS Certified Quilt AppraisersAQS Certified Quilt Appraisers

Quilt Appraisals

AQS Certified Quilt Appraisers will appraise new or antique/vintage quilts for insurance replacement, or for sale or donation purposes.

No appointment is necessary, but you can contact Michelle Thompson at 270-898-7903, ext. 132 or michelle.thompson@americanquilter.com to schedule a day and time.

Walk-in appraisals for AQS QuiltWeek - Lancaster, PA 2024 will be held Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Appraisal Fee: $75 per quilt, payable at the AQS Information Center prior to the appraisal. You’ll receive your written appraisal no later than 30 days after the close of the show.
