Parking & Bus Routes
Free City Parking Lots: GPS Coordinates

Transportation:
Shuttle buses to hotels and attractions and the Paducah Trolleys will pick up passengers at the AQS Shuttle Stop inside the floodwall at the sidewalk near the Eisenhower entrance to the Convention Center. The Trolley will stop at the Farmers’ Market parking lot (2nd St. and Monroe St.) to pick up passengers who park there to go to the Shuttle Stop at the Convention Center.
Expo Center Parking Lot
Traffic will be directed to the stoplight at 8th St. to Campbell St. to enter the Convention Center Parking lot and park. Parking is $10/space/day.
Charter buses will enter at the rear entrance off Campbell Street, turning right and traveling along the floodwall to the food court area in the parking
lot of the Convention Center, then left to stop at the Bus Stop in front of the Expo Center.
Traffic from 4th Street through the floodwall will only be able to drop off passengers at the Convention Center and then exit to Park Avenue.
Pavilion Shuttle buses to/from the Pavilion will pick up and drop off at the Bus Stop in front the Expo Center. 6th St. will be one way toward Park Avenue.
Evening Transportation:
After Evening Classes – A Pavilion Shuttle bus will transport students from the Convention Center Shuttle Stop at 8:00 p.m. to participating hotels.
Wednesday & Friday events at Clemens Fine Arts Center:
A Pavilion Shuttle will leave the Convention Center Shuttle Stop at 6:00 p.m. to go to the Clemens Fine Arts Center and will return to Clemens to pick up at 9:00 p.m. to go to participating hotels.
Transportation to/from the Pavilion
Ride the free small buses from the Bus/Pavilion Shuttle Stop in front of the Schroeder Expo Center to the Pavilion. These buses will run continuously during show hours.
If you need ADA Accessible transportation to the Pavilion, the two trolleys (available at the AQS Shuttle Stop next to the Carroll Convention Center) can accommodate two wheelchairs. The Trolleys will leave from the Shuttle Stop at the Convention Center and stop at the Pavilion before completing the Trolley Route through Downtown Paducah.

Concessions in the Atrium of the Convention Center and inside the Dome Pavilion will be provided by the Paducah Convention Center.
Scooter Rental
Scooters and wheelchairs will be available to rent from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday during AQS QuiltWeek – Paducah 2023.
Rental Rates:
- Scooter: $80 per day, $150 for 2 days, 4 days for $280
- Scooter Half-Day (Morning or Afternoon): $45 - Available from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. (Saturday 12:00 - 3 p.m.)
- Wheelchairs: $40 per day
Rent your scooter at the AQS Information Center during QuiltWeek (while supplies last).
If you have a scooter reserved, stop at the AQS Information Center in the hallway ourside the Exhibit Hall to make payment, sign the paperwork, and pick up the key.
Scooters should be returned one hour prior to the show closing each day (5:00 p.m. on Wed., Thurs., and Fri., and 3:00 p.m. on Sat). You will need to return the key to the AQS Information Center.
Quilt Appraisals
AQS Certified Quilt Appraisers will appraise new or antique/vintage quilts for insurance replacement, or for sale or donation purposes.

Walk-in appraisals for AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah 2023 will be held Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Appraisal Fee: $75 per quilt, payable at the AQS Information Center prior to the appraisal.
You’ll receive your written appraisal no later than 30 days after the close of the show.
Sanctioned Events
National Quilt Museum (NQM) Multi-Day Admission
Visit The National Quilt Museum as many times as you like during AQS QuiltWeek by purchasing a Multi-Day pass, only available through AQS Advance Registration. You’ll save by paying the daily price for all-week access! Admission purchased at The National Quilt Museum during the show is $12 for a daily admission at the door.
Limit one per registrant.
Charities
Kentucky State Police – Truck Raffle
Purchase a $10 raffle ticket for a 2023 GMC SIERRA 1500 DENALI 4WD at the Kentucky State Police table at the entrance of the River Rooms on the second floor of the Convention Center. Raffle benefits Trooper Island Camp for underprivileged children.
9th Annual PaDucky Derby
Adopt a duck at the 2023 AQS QuiltWeek to benefit survivors of domestic violence!
You can adopt a duck to put in the race for just $5, and the fastest three ducks will win their adoptive parents cash prizes! You don’t need to be present to win. Merryman House will hold a special adoption pre-sale for quilters at AQS QuiltWeek, so be sure to stop by the PaDucky Derby booth in the Atrium of Carroll Convention Center to adopt your ducks!
On October 21, 2023, 20,000 rubber ducks will splash into Montgomery Lake at Bob Noble Park and race toward the finish line! The proceeds of the race will benefit Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center, which saves, builds, and changes the lives of men, women, and children affected by domestic violence in Kentucky’s Purchase Region. You can learn more about the Merryman House at merrymanhouse.org.
