Concept to Quilted, #45HAHN
Have you ever wondered where designers get their inspiration for their fabric designs, patterns or books? At times, it may be a middle of the night epiphany, other times it may be climbing through bushes in the rain to get just the right photo angle of a gorgeous hibiscus before the security guard arrives!!! Your creative juices will be flowing and you’ll never look at a hotel rug or bathroom tile the same way again by the time you leave.
Linda shares her thought process, photos, color selection and processes to develop her fabric collections. She’ll also cover considerations for designing patterns for books and magazines such as color coordination and selection, using the appropriate size piece for the specific fabric, choosing the block design to work with the fabric you have.
There’ll be some time afterwards for some quick Q&A.
