HARLEQUIN features geometric shapes that create movement through the medallion center and layered borders. This version uses 30 different Kaffe Fassett prints with black accents to create bursts of color and secondary designs. This award winning quilt took six months to design, cut and piece both this version and batik version using fewer fabrics and was designed as a mystery quilt for the Dragonfly Fiberart Show & Share private group. The original design used six primary fabrics, but Susan challenged herself to use a Kaffe Fassett fat quarter bundle for this version and she loves the bursts of color.
