A quilt by Di Ford that combined broderie perse and patchwork was the inspiration for ”Middleborough.” Bernadette used floral and reproduction fabrics from her stash to complete the frames, changing up the pattern with a swag and a small-piece border. Completed in 20 months, this quilt is one in a series of Broderie Perse quilts Bernadette has done.
