Design Source: Binding Tool Star pattern by Missouri Star Quilt Company

This heirloom quilt was created in honor of all of Roslyn’s more than 50 family members who fought on behalf of our beloved country dating from The American Civil War. The pattern is the Missouri Star Quilt Company’s “Binding Tool Star.” It took approximately a year to complete as she was on a waiting list for Ruby Blue Quilts. As mentioned, Roslyn is deeply affected by her family’s history of stepping forward to honor and defend our Nation. The story that most resonates is that of her father, at the age of 17, volunteered and served in The Army Corps of Engineers in World War II.
