Erin modified the Skill Builders Snow Crystals project to have a floral theme since it was summer when she was completing this quilt. She added additional circular thread painting to add a pop of color in the borders and edges of the flowers. She made her own patterns to do the circular thread painting. This quilt was completed in one month. She enjoyed using different quilting techniques and this project allowed her to use radiating quilting, mirrored matchstick corners, echoing, and lots of thread painting.
