This project began as a mystery quilt by Michelle Renee Hiatt (Holiday Sensation). However, Penny quickly decided she wanted a different look to her quilt and used a lot of Michelle’s center, but revamped the outer parts of the quilt. This award-winning quilt was about one year to complete. Penny wanted her quilting to build from the center out. She loved the fabrics for this quilt, especially the sparkle of gold in the background and some of the medallion pieces.
