Dawn and Joyce started this quilt in 2020 at the beginning of COVID, needing a fun and colorful project to work on during our year of lock down. They cut a plethora of shapes in many colors, designing this quilt spontaneously from the center out. This award-winning quilt took three years (off and on) to complete. All appliqués were cut on the Accuquilt Cutting System (hand crank), with the exception of some smaller dots. After trying a hand at rolled wool felt balls for the first time, they were cut and used for some flower centers.
