Meet Pam Damour: A Maker from the Heart
For Pam, creativity started “from scratch.” Growing up on her grandparents’ farm, she learned that the best way to make something was to roll up your sleeves and do it yourself. That philosophy has shaped her entire life, both as a maker and as a teacher.
Today, Pam is the author of 10 sewing books and countless patterns and videos, sharing her love of sewing with students around the world. With over 30 years of teaching experience, she has a knack for making skills approachable, fun, and instantly useful.
When she’s not on the road or online guiding students, you’ll find Pam at her cozy log home on Lake Champlain, hosting sewing retreats surrounded by the beauty of the Vermont countryside. Her classes blend practical techniques with encouragement and creativity, making them perfect for anyone ready to expand their skills and leave with a project they’re proud of.
Join Pam at AQS QuiltWeek - Lancaster, September 10-13. Take a look at her workshops here.
