Stitching Kindness: Quilters Give Back at AQS QuiltWeek – Lancaster

One of the many inspiring parts of every AQS QuiltWeek is the Charity Booth, where quilters come together to sew for a cause. At each show, AQS partners with a local quilt guild to create quilts that are donated to organizations making a difference in their communities. With machines, irons, and materials provided by AQS and our generous sponsors, all that’s needed is a willing heart and a few stitches of kindness.

Looking Back at 2024: Quilters Making a Difference

At AQS QuiltWeek – Lancaster 2024, we teamed up with the Red Rose Quilters Guild to create children’s quilts for local charities. Show attendees joined guild members at the Charity Booth, sewing blocks and piecing together bright, cheerful quilts, a few of which are shown here.

Each quilt carried with it warmth, hope, and the reminder that the quilting community is always ready to give back.

Join Us in 2025: Sew for Charity at QuiltWeek – Lancaster

This year, AQS and the Red Rose Quilters Guild are once again inviting attendees to make a difference through quilting. At the Charity Booth during AQS QuiltWeek – Lancaster, you can stop by and sew a block or two that will become part of quilts donated to Faith, Food & Fellowship and Off the Streets Now.

Visit Booth #1521 at AQS QuiltWeek - Lancaster, September 10-13, 2025, to participate.

No need to bring supplies—AQS and sponsors will provide sewing machines, irons, and all materials. Just bring your love for quilting and a little time to help create something meaningful.
