This dynamic wall hanging will look fabulous in any fabric combination! In class, you will kick up the New York Beauty block with a slightly more challenging combination of piecing which uses multi-fabric pieces and some alternating color spires. This block combines with a very simple block for an eye-catching result. Linda will show you how this will open up many more design opportunities! Throughout the class, Linda will demonstrate how to create an optional miniature using the scraps and cutaways from the main project.

This cute wall quilt is made using just ONE block, just one! It is all about where you place the colors that will create the secondary and tertiary designs. Linda will share her tools and techniques to fast piecing, including connector square and using Triangles on a Roll!

The New York Beauty block is as versatile as a nine patch. The quilts in this lecture are sure to put you in a "New York Beauty State of Mind." Linda will show how you can change the "flavor" of a quilt by simply changing the fabric or the orientation of the blocks. Then, she will show how you can combine the block with other quilt blocks for a more dynamic effect. Finally, she will show you how you can have some fun with the block....think butterflies, beach crabs, spiders, and more! Linda is an animated and dynamic speaker and her lectures will certainly educate and entertain you!

Join Linda and rock that Country Crown Block! This class is part color, part design. Linda will guide you through her method for rocking a quilt block. Students will learn how they can change a block’s style by simply adding or subtracting a color, or perhaps rotating a piece here or there. No one’s quilt will look the same. After learning the technique to make the basic Country Crown block, students will begin playing with the fabrics and colors to rock their own blocks!
