Make one block of month for a year! It's just that simple. Yea, right! Come along on this hilarious journey into the joys and perils of designing a block of the month every year for 15 years! See the quilts, hear the stories, and prepare to jump into your next Block of the Month project.
Lunch will be provided for you. There will be options to choose from during registration. Lecture will start at noon once meals have been given out.

If you have ever admitted that you aren’t good with color, this is the workshop for you! In this highly informative workshop, you will learn color theory from the quilter’s perspective, how to use a color wheel to create quilt color schemes, and how to translate your favorite colors into quilts that sizzle.
Mastering Machine Appliqué, #253507
Learn the techniques and tools to make raw edge machine appliqué look as good as hand appliqué. This workshop focuses on using fusible web, appliqué fabric, thread types and weights, and bobbins. Discover ways to improve the appearance of your appliqué by selecting the right fusible for the project, choosing a proper stitch to get the appearance you are seeking, and learning how to position your fabric to get the best look possible from your stitching.
Sacred Geometry: Dodecahedron, #257509
What is a dodecahedron? It is a geometric shape, based on a pentagon which has been transformed into a star with ten faces! Yea right! This is a jelly roll and fat quarter friendly class. All the diamonds are made in 4-patch components which can be moved around before you assemble the top. This is a fast and flexible technique with no set-in seams. Make a 4-Diamond runner in the workshop, or expand at home for a larger quilt. This novel approach to assembly makes it fun to personalize your colors and fabrics. Registration for this workshop includes complimentary show admission for Thursday.
