Participants will learn all the hints and tips to design and create their very own quilt dress - including how you can utilize old quilt tops and create your own quilt tops fast with Accuquilt. Dee will walk you through the simple pattern she uses to make her quilt dress without a zipper or a button in sight! While participants are sewing sample blocks, Dee will answer any questions they have on quilt dresses and demonstrate how to make cutting into a quilt top less scary.

Participants will create a pixel quilt cushion cover and try the two techniques Dee uses to piece her pixel quilts. For those that love Accuquilt, Dee will demonstrate using the system to easily cut and piece a pixel quilt using the dies and grid interfacing and then also teach her technique to block like colors together a piece a block in that way. By the end of the class, participants will have tried both methods and be ready to tackle a pixel quilt project. While participants are sewing Dee will answer any questions they have on pixel quilt design and bring examples of her quilts to show the different techniques in a finished quilt.
