Judith will teach you ten basic stitches to create freeform, organic shapes. The hand-dyed Ultrador cards are postcard size and ready to be framed or made into a special gift card. From shrubs and grasses to seaweed and corals, these stitches are a great addition to every stitch project - fishbone, flat stitch, fly stitch, seed pod, couching, french knot, split ribbon, raised straight stitch, running stitch, Romanian couching, and satin stitch.

Join us for an exclusive lunchtime event featuring Fiber Art Painting with Judith Baker Montano! Become immersed in the process Judith uses to make her prize-winning landscapes, seascapes, and underwater art pieces. Learn to think like a painter as you observe how she uses threads, yarns, and fabrics in her images. From the planning process to the freeform stitching, enjoy the journey through the various stages of her artwork.
Lunch will be provided for you. There will be options to choose from during registration. Lecture will start at noon once meals have been given out.
