Lyon, Jenny K.
Jenny uses her domestic sewing machine to create quilts and wearable art. She has sewn since the age of six and began to free-motion quilt in 2000. Her work has been juried into several international quilt shows, including AQS QuiltWeek in Paducah, the International Quilt Festival in Houston, and the Pacific International Quilt Festival. Her work has been featured in Machine Quilting Unlimited and she has written for Quilting Arts Magazine and Quilter’s Newsletter. Since 2006, Jenny has been teaching the art of quilting nationwide at guilds, shops, and major international shows and festivals. She brings passion and joy to the classroom, inspiring her students to quilt their own quilts! Jenny lives in northern California with her patient husband and a sweet little Australian Shepherdess. You will learn how straight line rulerwork will enhance your quilts. Workshop includes a kit with a pre-printed panel (markings wash out!) and a unique ruler that makes straight line ruler work virtually fool proof! This is a great workshop for all levels of freemotion quilters, as rulerwork simplifies the process.
