Berry, Ruth Ann
Ruth Ann Berry is an accomplished quilt designer, teacher, and author,known for her expertise in Bargello and 3D illusion quilts. Her publications include Bargello Quilts in Motion (2014), Braided Bargello (2017), Simplified 3D Quilts (2018), Stunning 3D Quilts Simplified (2020), and 3D Illusion Quilts (2024), as well as over 50 quilt patterns available through major distributors. Ruth Ann also collaborates with Northcott and FreeSpirit Fabrics to design unique patterns. She owns and operates The Quilter’s Clinic, a charming small-town quilt store and online business, and travels extensively to teach and exhibit her innovative designs at guilds and festivals across the country. Create a chart to keep track of fabric placement. Sew strip sets, then slice up the sets in different widths. Add measured strips of a multi-colored, variable width stripe fabric to build vertical columns. No pre-cutting is required. The kit includes precut strips. Learn how to use a bargello design chart and all the tricks for straight columns, seam matching and staying organized.
