Class Description:

Foundation Paper Piecing (aka Paper Piecing) allows for greater accuracy in piecing small or complex shapes and irregular angles. The paper acts as a stabilizer; thus, the fabric is less likely to stretch or distort. There is also no need for precise cutting or pinning.

Our Color Fusion project is certainly complex-LOOKING; however, once broken down into easy, manageable components (with only two seams to stitch per component), it can be assembled quite quickly and easily.

And even better, you probably already have the fabrics needed (except for the background) in your stash!! You will easily be able to make this quilt larger (or smaller) simply by making more blocks. There are quite a few different design/color alternatives that you can incorporate into your quilt as well.

Linda's relaxed teaching style is both entertaining and educational. She has many tips, techniques, and hacks to share, not to mention some rather funny stories about her life. There's sure to be quite a bit of laughter coming out of her classroom.

  • How to set up your machine for optimal success
  • How to stretch your color sense
  • How you can use body parts to guide your fabric placement

    –     Need transportation? AQS will provide a complimentary shuttle service, for those without an automobile, between the hotel and Hancock’s. Seating will be limited.
