Project Description:

Kentucky Rose Garden was conceived for the 2025 AQS Seam Quilt Retreat in Paducah, Kentucky. It reflects Michelle Renee's love for her new home state and her passion for gardening. The quilt's design celebrates the beauty of Kentucky's blooming roses and the lush green fields of bluegrass.

The eight-pointed Wedge Star Block features Diamonds displayed in vibrant shades of pink and blue-green, creating a striking contrast. The Wedge Star Block features two background fabrics and a green accent fabric reminiscent of Kentucky's bluegrass. The arrangement of blocks beautifully forms multiple secondary stars, adding depth and complexity to the quilt. The Kentucky Rose Garden quilt captures the essence of Kentucky's natural beauty. The harmonious blend of colors and the intricate design create a truly captivating piece.

Two Finished Quilt Sizes offered: Large Throw 64” x 84” and Double 84” x 84”

    –     Need transportation? AQS will provide a complimentary shuttle service, for those without an automobile, between the hotel and Hancock’s. Seating will be limited.
    –     Reserve your shuttle seat during registration.
  • Saturday Evening - Farewell Mixer and Reception
